I INTERNATIONAL ART BIENNALE \u2013
PA\u0141AC STRUGA 2026
STRUGA. CONTEXTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a71. ORGANIZER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. The Organizer of the 1st International Art Biennale \u2013 Pa\u0142ac Struga 2026 (hereinafter: the Biennale) is the Pa\u0142ac Struga Foundation, ul. Wiejska 3, 58-311 Struga, Poland.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  4. The Biennale is an international contemporary art competition.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    \u00a72. PURPOSE OF THE BIENNALE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. The purpose of the Biennale is to present current phenomena in contemporary art and to create a space for dialogue between artists representing diverse artistic approaches, media, and experiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. The Biennale supports artists and builds international artistic exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. An essential element of the Biennale is the context of the place \u2013 Pa\u0142ac Struga \u2013 as a space for exhibition, encounter, and exchange of ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      \u00a73. PARTICIPANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      1. The Biennale is open to artists who are of legal age (18+) and who conduct active artistic practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. The Biennale is open to artists from Poland and abroad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Each participant may submit a maximum of three (3) works.
        Diptychs, triptychs and other multi-part works forming a coherent artistic whole are considered as one work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Submission of a work to the Biennale constitutes acceptance of these Regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        \u00a74. SCOPE OF MEDIA AND RESTRICTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        1. Works may be submitted in the following fields, among others:
          \u2013 painting
          \u2013 drawing
          \u2013 printmaking
          \u2013 photography
          \u2013 sculpture
          \u2013 installation
          \u2013 textile art
          \u2013 ceramics and glass
          \u2013 other forms of artistic expression<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. The Organizer reserves the right not to admit works that, for technical reasons, cannot be exhibited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse acceptance of or exclude from the Biennale works that violate applicable law, infringe upon the personal rights of third parties, contradict principles of social coexistence, or contain pornographic content.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          \u00a75. STAGE I \u2013 ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          1. Submission period: 21.02.2026 \u2013 30.04.2026 <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. The following are required for admission to evaluation:
            \u2013 completed Application Form (electronic version),
            \u2013 photographic documentation of the works,
            \u2013 confirmation of payment of the entry fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Entry fee: 120 PLN, payable at Stage I.

            Payment title: Biennale Struga 2026
            Failure to pay the fee will result in rejection of the submission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Submissions must be sent to:
            biennalepalacstruga@gmail.com<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          5. Documentation must meet the following requirements:
            \u2013 JPG format
            \u2013 minimum 300 dpi
            \u2013 shorter side minimum 1500 px
            \u2013 RGB color space<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          6. The file name should include:
            surname_name_title_year_medium_dimensions
            Example of correct file naming:

          7. Files must be sent via WeTransfer:
            https:\/\/wetransfer.com\/<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          8. The Participant grants the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use images of the submitted works for promotional, informational and archival purposes related to the Biennale, without territorial or time limitations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            \u00a76. JURY DELIBERATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \n
            1. Jury deliberations (dwa etapy): 16.04.2026 \u2013 17.05.2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. The Jury consists of 6 members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. The Jury\u2019s decisions are final and not subject to appeal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              \u00a77. STAGE II \u2013 DELIVERY OF WORKS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                \n
              1. Deadline for submission of selected works: 18.05.2026 \u2013 15.06.2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              2. Only works selected by the Jury on the basis of original artworks delivered to the Organizer\u2019s headquarters will be admitted to the exhibition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              3. Works must be sent to the Organizer\u2019s address with the note:
                \u201cExhibition \u2013 Pa\u0142ac Struga 2026\u201d

              4. Works must be prepared for exhibition (hanging systems, frames, mounting elements). In particular, works executed on paper must be framed with glass.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              5. Each work must be permanently labeled and include:
                \u2013 artist\u2019s full name
                \u2013 title
                \u2013 medium
                \u2013 dimensions
                \u2013 year of creation
                Note: In the case of spatial works, the placement of the label may be changed, provided that the artwork remains permanently marked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              6. The signed original Application Form must be attached to the work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              7. The interiors of the Palace are not heated. The Organizer shall not be responsible for any damage occurring during the exhibition if the works were not properly secured by the Participant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              8. Note! Works that do not meet the above requirements, are unlabeled or incorrectly labeled, or are submitted without the Application Form or proof of payment, will not be presented at the exhibition or included in the catalogue.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                \u00a78. EXHIBITION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  \n
                1. The results of the Biennale will be published on the event\u2019s website prior to the opening.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. Opening: 4 July 2026, 6:00 PM<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                3. Exhibition duration: 04.07.2026 \u2013 30.08.2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                4. Finissage and formal award ceremony: 30 August 2026, 4:00 PM<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  \u00a79. PRIZES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    \n
                  1. Grand Prix \u2013 7,000 PLN and a solo exhibition in 2027.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. Second Prize \u2013 5 000 PLN.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  3. Third Prize \u2013 2 000 PLN.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  4. Honorary mentions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  5. The Organizer reserves the possibility of inviting prize winners and authors of distinguishedworks to participate in future exhibition projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  6. Financial awards will be paid by bank transfer within 7 working days from the date of the Finissage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    \u00a710. ONLINE GALLERY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    An online gallery presenting all correctly submitted works will be published on the Biennale website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    \u00a711. TRANSPORT AND COLLECTION OF WORKS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      \n
                    1. Transport of works in both directions is covered by the author.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    2. After the exhibition, the author is obliged to inform the Organizer of readiness to collect the work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    3. The Organizer prepares the works for shipment; however, the author arranges and pays for the courier service. Personal collection is also possible upon prior arrangement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    4. Works submitted for Stage II that are not qualified for the exhibition shall be collected by the author at their own cost and risk, within the deadline indicated by the Organizer. The Organizer does not cover transportation or return costs of non-qualified works.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    5. The Organizer does not provide insurance coverage for the works during transport or exhibition.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      \u00a712. UNCOLLECTED WORKS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Works not collected by 30.11.2026 shall be deemed donated to the Pa\u0142ac Struga Foundation. The Organizer has the right to dispose of them, including selling them, and to allocate the proceeds to the statutory purposes of the Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      \u00a713. CATALOGUE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        \n
                      1. The Organizer will publish a Biennale catalogue. The catalogue will include works by authors selected for the exhibition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      2. Authors of selected works will receive a copy of the catalogue.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                        \u00a714. FINAL PROVISIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          \n
                        1. The Organizer reserves the right to introduce changes to the Regulations for organizational reasons. Any ambiguities regarding the interpretation of these Regulations shall be resolved by the Organizer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        2. In matters not regulated herein, the provisions of Polish law shall apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        3. In the event of disputes, the court competent for the Organizer\u2019s registered office shall havejurisdiction.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                          \u00a715. ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          The Organizer reserves the right to change the exhibition dates, shorten, temporarily suspend or cancel the exhibition due to circumstances beyond the Organizer\u2019s control (including but not limited to force majeure, administrative decisions, security threats or other extraordinary circumstances).
                          In such cases, participants shall not be entitled to any financial claims against the Organizer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
